Shakopee VFW Post 4046

About

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) was chartered by Congress (Title 36 USC Chapter 2301) on May 28, 1936. The VFW is a non-profit organization, which means it receives no United States funding through taxes and only is supported by charitable donations.

Disabled American Veterans accept donations of used medical equipment, ie wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bed rails etc. If you are in need of some kind of equipment, check with them before you buy.

The Shakopee VFW Post 4046 will take your tattered, worn, or faded flags to retire in an Honorable Flag Retirement Ceremony shared with the neighboring Shakopee American Legion Post 2.  The ceremony takes place every Flag Day (June 14) and the host of the annual event alternates between the VFW and American Legion.
